Knowlton Township School District has immediate openings for a Preschool Special Education paraprofessional position.

Special Education Paraprofessional Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent •Experience working with elementary students • Effective instructional strategies • Good communication skills • Team Player • Knowledge of Special Education best practices

Responsibilities include: Assisting in the classroom under the guidance of a certified teacher, including: Care of physical needs• Implementing directions, plans, and schedules as directed by the classroom teacher • Applying strategies, accommodations, and modifications for student • Participating in classroom routine and providing assistance as needed • Respecting and maintaining confidentiality •

 Substitute Drivers

Candidate must possess CDL ( Commercial Drivers License)Class B NJ Drivers License endorsed with a P (showing you can transport passengers) and an S (showing you can drive a school bus). Candidate must complete the NJDOE Criminal History Review and possess a driving record in good standing. Candidate must pass a full DOT physical exam.
